This committee promotes education and advocacy about issues that relate to Latin America and the Caribbean and to support the people of the area in addressing concerns and human rights causes. Members of the committee are committed to continue Loretto's relationship with the Holy Family
Sisters in Guatemala; to raise awareness about the reality of human rights and about our relationship to the causes of human rights, and to be in solidarity with causes that should concern U.S. citizens. The committee has a special focus on immigration/migration and the impact of this on Latin American countries as well as the U.S.
