This week’s guest speaker just returned from the Texas borderland and will share her recent experiences providing services and hospitality to the families and unaccompanied teens and children from Central America seeking safety in the United States. Kathy Bougher is an educator, social justice activist and a writer living in Denver, Colorado. Her activism focuses on feminist questions in the U.S. and Central America, immigration, and education of immigrant students. Her solidarity work with Salvadoran feminists encompasses more than twenty years. As Kathy says, ‘There is lots to talk about.”
