Join us to learn how current immigration policies are affecting children with updates by an immigration lawyer who has worked with unaccompanied minor immigrant children for the past 6 years. She will discuss how recent immigration policy changes have impacted the legal landscape for migrant children throughout the U.S.

Chris DePalma, founder of Abide in Love St. Louis (“AIL”), will speak about the group’s mission to form wraparound relationships with families, especially those with young children, who are impacted by ICE detention or displacement. In addition, Charlene and Jean Denis, Haitian immigrants living under precarious conditions in Chula Vista due to these policies, will share their real life experience. Facilitated by LACC member, Mary Jean Friel.
