Latin America/Caribbean Committee (LACC) invites you to join the next “Immigration Spotlight” at 11am ET on Friday, June 28.
This month’s gathering will feature Georgia Coats, the Women’s Empowerment Community Navigator for the Immigrant and Refugee Center of Northern Colorado (IRCNOCO). Georgia’s presentation will provide a broad overview of the global refugee crisis and how that filters down to those who resettle in Northern Colorado, and the particular groups in our community. She’ll highlight the Rohingya and how the IRCNOCO is working to serve this population as they resettle in the community. This ties into the overall services offered at the IRCNOCO and how they reflect their mission to empower, connect, advocate.
We hope you’ll join us and invite others to engage in this important conversation!
