Loretto at the UN invites you to attend the UN High-level Political Forum (HLPF) 8-15 July 2026 as part of an Intergenerational Team. You can sign up with someone of a different generation, or we will connect you!
The High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) is the central United Nations platform for the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Attending HLPF 2026 with Loretto/BVM at the UN provides:
- An opportunity for YOU to see yourself involved in international advocacy at the UN
- Access to a curated experience of how to navigate the United Nations, complete with Orientation Sessions, an HLPF2026 Guide and a temporary UN Grounds Pass
- An important lens through which to view the work of the UN (see the HLPF Roadmap graphic)
- Potential for community-engaged research and/or future internships
- Meet civil society leaders, diplomats and academics promoting sustainability
- Community-building experiences that bring together voices from the grassroots around the U.S. – and include links with Loretto/BVM contacts and collaborators around the world
