Saxophonist and Pianist to Perform Varied Works at Loretto Motherhouse

Saxophonist Davis Hale and pianist Adrienne Fontenot will give a concert starting at 3 p.m. EDT in the church at Loretto Motherhouse in Nerinx, Ky. Davis is a grad student at Illinois State University pursuing his master’s in saxophone performance. The program includes William Albright’s “Sonata for Alto Saxophone and Piano,” Paule Maurice’s “Tableaux de Provence,” two Tango Etudes by Astor Piazzolla and transcriptions of works by Antonin Dvorak and Lili Boulanger.
