UN Commission on the Status of Women #70; CSW70 – Virtual delegation sign-up

The seventieth session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women will take place at UN Headquarters in New York, as well as virtually, from 9 to 20 March 2026.

This year’s priority theme is “Access to Justice,” and will focus on promoting inclusive and equitable legal systems, eliminating discriminatory laws, policies, and practices, and addressing structural barriers.  The review theme will address women’s full and effective participation and decision making in public life, as well as the elimination of violence, for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls. In addition to the virtual delegation, Loretto/BVM at the UN office will be hosting an in-person delegation of 45 persons, over two dozen of whom are high school students!
