Loretto Woods Natural Cemetery

Loretto Woods Natural Cemetery offers burial space for those who prefer a simple and natural burial free from chemical embalming or cement vaults. You are welcome here regardless of what you believe, who you love, or the color of your skin.

A ministry of the Sisters of Loretto, Loretto Woods is located on the grounds of Loretto Motherhouse in Central Kentucky. The 13-acre cemetery, along with another 642 acres of woods, native grasses, pollinator habitat, and farmland, is permanently protected by a conservation easement held by the Bluegrass Land Conservancy.

To make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from.
