Loretto at the UN: Interns

I really never felt like I was “just the intern.” I was able to fully contribute the skills I had as an equal member of the team … and the connections I made there led to my next job and the one after that.

Student Internships

Current graduate and/or undergraduate students from universities and colleges are encouraged to participate in the Loretto at the UN Student Internship Program. The internship program is an excellent short-term opportunity to learn about the role non-governmental organizations play at the United Nations. Interns engage in a full range of activities, from assisting in developing communications materials and attending UN NGO committee meetings to contributing to current Loretto projects. We welcome interns during the summer, spring and fall semesters.

All participants are encouraged to apply for academic credit from their home institutions for their work at Loretto at the UN. Applications are accepted throughout the year, and interns are invited to come at any time.
