Loretto ‘acts for peace’ in many splendid ways!

“Justice shall flourish in the time of God, with the promise of peace forever.”

The first thing we can do is pray: “Our great and merciful God, source of all goodness and life, give to your people the peace that passes all understanding, and the desire to live your Gospel of mercy and justice, through our peacemaker, Jesus Christ. Amen.”
The next thing we can do is be informed by our work and missions. Many actions we experience in our world today contradict the values we in Loretto hold dear: love, compassion, peace, hospitality and mercy. These values shared among us and all world religions must ground us as a nation if there is to be a future of peace for everyone.
