Sisters gather to promote justice and human rights

The Dominican Sisters of St. Catharine’s Motherhouse joined forces with the Sisters of Loretto/Loretto Community to host a Community Gathering near their billboard on Highway 55.
The gathering was held on Tuesday, May 6, “to stand in solidarity with marginalized communities” and focused on immigration policies and discrimination toward the LGBTQ+ community. Attendees are urging Congress to enact comprehensive reforms in both areas.
