Do you keep those holy card remembrances of family and friends who have died? This week, which includes the celebration of  the feasts of All Saints and All Souls, is a good time to get them out and remember those special people.

French Jesuit Teilhard de Chardin once said, “We are spiritual beings on a human journey.” Each prayer card you have is the story of a journey. Each of us has our own journey to accomplish. Many of us share a common ground; for others the path is more solitary. In any case it is all about God’s call. Saints try to follow that “largeness of life” and use their gifts to fulfill the potential that God gave them. They said “yes” to the call.

Pray for the deceased, and pray to them.

In celebration of All Saints Day, Nov. 1, and All Souls, Nov. 2, on our Facebook page this week we will highlight Loretto souls who have finished their earthly journey in the past 12 months.

Jesus came to set us all free from the effects of sin and darkness to enjoy forever complete freedom and everlasting joy. Get ready!
