Eleanor Craig SL to receive Luzbetak Award for Exemplary Church Research on behalf of Sisters of Loretto

Eleanor Craig SL was selected by the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) as a 2025 recipient of the Rev. Louis J. Luzbetak, SVD Award for Exemplary Church Research. She is being recognized along with the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth and the Dominican Sisters of Peace for their work to “document the enslaved families and descendants of the Congregation.”

Eleanor will receive the award on behalf of the Sisters of Loretto at the award celebration that will take place Nov. 13 at Georgetown University.
