Loretto Motherhouse To Host Marion County Sheriff Candidates Forum March 14

The Loretto Motherhouse will host a public forum for candidates running for Marion County Sheriff from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 14, in the Conference Room of the Motherhouse Academy Building, 430 Academy Lane, Nerinx, Ky. All are welcome.

The forum is part of the Loretto Motherhouse Peace Committee’s “Countdown to 2026 Series,” which invites candidates for upcoming elections to share their perspectives with local residents.

All three candidates for Marion County Sheriff — Jeff Caldwell, Ray Gardner and William Chad Rakes – have confirmed their participation.

“Our hope is to offer a respectful setting where neighbors can listen, learn and reflect,” said Loretto Co-member Joyce Minkler of the Loretto Peace Committee. “When communities have access to clear information, they’re better equipped to make thoughtful choices.”
