This week on Loretto’s socials, the Loretto Latin America/Caribbean Committee (LACC) highlights LACC’s 2025 work to strengthen its partnerships in the U.S. and Mexico, support colleagues working on the front lines of migrant justice, and bring awareness to urgent immigration needs in our communities.

We are honored to share our conversation with Dora Rodriguez, a fierce advocate for immigrant justice and member of Loretto Link. We also will share stories and photos of our recent trips to the U.S./Mexico border, where we met with colleagues providing vital services to LGBTQ and pregnant migrants in Mexico. Finally, we will spotlight Loretto’s longtime partner, the National Farm Worker Ministry, and its ongoing efforts to improve farm workers’ living and working conditions.

As immigration comes to the forefront of U.S. politics, LACC deepens its commitment to protect and defend the dignity of our immigrant neighbors and friends.
