Loretto Honors Members Celebrating 75, 50 and 25 Years of Service as Sisters or Co-Members

In 2020, Loretto Jubilarians celebrate important milestones in their journey of belonging, including 75-year, 50-year and 25-year anniversaries. “I Am the Way,” Loretto Constitutions, #10, tells us, “We are a dedicated community of faith and service which exists to praise God and minister to people. As Friends of Mary we seek compassionate ways to serve the suffering Body of Christ.”
The grounding for our Community is the Holy Spirit. The power of God’s own love and grace has formed us into one Loretto Community across all boundaries of time and space. This unity is not ours to forge, but rather it is a gift. We witness to the unfinished agenda of those gone before us and know that we, the followers, have more to do. Our Jubilarians know this thought very well.
Loretto prays a blessing on all who celebrate a Jubilee this year: 75th – Marietta Goy SL, Dolores Kelledy SL (who died Aug. 30) and Jean Kelley; 50th – Lois Conarchy SL, Sylvia Ginder SL and Therese Stawowy CoL; and 25th – Concha De La Cruz SL, Beth Blissman CoL, Susan Classen CoL, Marion Panyan CoL and Mary Seematter CoL. Collectively, their years of service add up to hundreds of years. Theirs is a journey of love, praise and thanksgiving for all the blessings they have been given.
Loretto members reach out in love to each of the Jubilarians. We thank you for your service to God’s people, we ask God’s blessing on you, and we promise to walk with you in the years to come.
