Summer reading – there’s nothing better!

Some books are like old friends, others offer a fresh breeze. This week on our Facebook page, Loretto members will share the books that have inspired, delighted or sparked reflection.

Loretto members’ book recommendations include the following:

  • “Dandelion Wine” by Ray Bradbury
  • “The Years of Ripening” by Joyce Rupp
  • “An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States” by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz
  • “Rewired: The Breakthrough Tapping Method to Stop Overthinking, Calm Your Body, and Finally Feel at Ease” by Nick Ortner, Jessica Ortner and Alex Ortner
  • “Cows Save the Planet: And Other Improbable Ways of Restoring Soil to Heal the Earth” by Judith D. Schwartz

See some of the recommendations in videos below! We hope you’ll share your favorites, too. What’s on your summer shelf? Please let us know in the comments what stories have stayed with you this season.
