Loretto Motherhouse Farm to Table Dinner

The First Annual Loretto Motherhouse Farm to Table Dinner in the Old Tobacco Barn was a roaring success. The 104 available tickets sold out within just a few weeks of opening sales. The dinner was hosted in partnership with the Marion County 4-H Livestock Club and the $5,000 raised at the event will be split with the club. The meal was sourced from local farmers within 20 miles of the Motherhouse. The chicken, pork and honey for the dinner was raised by some of the 4-H members. The evening was complete with greetings brought from Warren Beeler with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture and a lively auction. It was a great evening full of laughs, fellowship and good food. We appreciate the support of all who attended, donated and helped work the event. Plans are already in the works for next year!

The more I’ve learned about the Sisters of Loretto Community, the more respect I feel for the Loretto Community programs and Sisters of Loretto.
