Loretto Motherhouse Christmas Open House a joyful success!

More than 300 adults and children joined the Loretto Motherhouse Community Dec. 13 for the Christmas Open House. We were even visited by Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Thank you to the many people who made this joyful event possible. Community members and LLBI/Loretto Living Center at Loretto Motherhouse staff worked tirelessly behind the scenes and throughout the day: decorating and rearranging spaces, organizing food and activities, staffing stations, welcoming and directing visitors, leading singing and storytelling, stamping scavenger hunts, preparing treats, organizing Christmas music, setting up the beautiful creches, and so much more — far too much to list!

One of the many local guests remarked, “I’ve lived in the area a long time and never been up the Motherhouse driveway.” What a wonderful introduction to our Community and to the Motherhouse, and a meaningful way to share this special place with our neighbors.
