Meet Keithlee Spangler: Assistant Volunteer Coordinator, Washington, D.C.
Posted on April 1, 2019, by Loretto Community

The Loretto Volunteer Program recently hired an assistant Volunteer coordinator in Washington, D.C. Meet Keithlee Spangler!
Keithlee (pronouns: they/them/theirs) grew up in St. Louis but has settled in the D.C. area to live in intentional community.
After living in four different cities in three years, they relocated to D.C. to work as an advocate on issues of immigration reform and prison abolition in 2015 and never left.
Keithlee approaches their work from a place deeply rooted in community building, collective liberation and equality.
Keithlee finds joy in fermenting vegetables, romping around in the woods with their dog, and listening to podcasts about spirituality.
In addition to the hiring of Keithlee, the Volunteer Program is in the process of hiring an assistant Volunteer coordinator in Denver.
The program currently has a record number of applications for the 2019-2020 service year, and the program has laid the groundwork for five to six Volunteers to serve in Denver starting in August.
Volunteer placements continue to be available in Washington, D.C., St. Louis, El Paso and New York City.
