Merry Christmas from Loretto!

From the beginning of Advent to this joyful week of preparation for the second coming of God’s reign of peace, we hear a call to not only pray for peace but to build as we can the Kingdom of our God right where we are.
The Loretto traditions of years gone by are still remembered as times that take us, heart and soul, to the ways we welcome the light of Christ then and now.
You will read this week of the beautiful star that welcomes all to the Loretto Motherhouse. You can join the Community by continuing to pray nightly the scriptural “O” Antiphons, which began Dec. 17 and run to Dec. 23. And please join us as the Loretto Motherhouse Community and Loretto Sisters and Co-members all over the world sing a Midnight Mass, reminding us all that God’s light shall “break upon us, to shine on those who dwell in darkness and to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
