Loretto Volunteers

The Loretto Volunteer Program pairs volunteers with social justice organizations for a formative year of service. Through meaningful service work and communal living, volunteers live out the Loretto Community’s mission to work for justice and act for peace – guided by the core values of social justice, community, solidarity, sustainability and spirituality.

Volunteers live in community houses in Denver and El Paso where they serve with organizations that support social services, education, advocacy, immigration justice and women’s social enterprise. They connect with Loretto members in formal and informal settings throughout the year. The program is a key ministry for the Loretto Community to continue its mission to “work for justice and act for peace.”
