Semi Overturns Near Motherhouse

Recently a semi carrying diesel fuel ran off the road, overturned and spilled nearly 7,000 gallons of fuel. Sister Anndavid Naeger reported the fuel quickly reached bedrock, then spread like fingers to the surrounding area and into nearby Coleman’s Run.
The clean-up plan was for the creek water to be captured long enough for the fuel to separate and rise to the top of the water, where it was vacuumed off. The truck driver recovered from the accident.
