Beth Blissman reports that Loretto at the UN wrapped up 2019 by welcoming Sister Mary Akuoku FST from Ghana for a brief, yet enjoyable visit. The United Nations turned 75 in 2020, and this year also is the 25th anniversary of the fourth World Conference on Women. 2020 also is the 20th anniversary of U.N. Security Council Resolution 1325 and the 10th anniversary of U.N. Women. Stay tuned for more details, Beth says.
