Join Loretto in supporting the passage of the ERA

Loretto leadership recently reaffirmed its commitment to the passage of the ERA and is inviting all to consider signing on to the Interfaith Statement for the ERA. Loretto is working with JusticeRevival.org and other faith allies to rally more individuals of faith to sign this statement. Justice Revival’s mission, in part, is “to inspire, educate and mobilize Christian communities to respond faithfully to the call to justice.”

We need your help to ensure that our lawmakers in Congress know there are many, diverse people of faith who support the ERA. The message we need them to hear is that we believe respect for human dignity, equality and rights are sacred values we all share.

Won’t you consider adding your name to the growing list of Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu and other religious leaders calling for full inclusion of all people and true equality under the U.S. Constitution for the first time in our nation’s history? The Equal Rights Amendment states, “Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex.”

We eagerly anticipate the formal recognition of the ERA as the 28th Amendment in 2021. We continue to call on our senators to pass the resolution to remove the time limit on its ratification.
