Loretto at the UN has been a recognized Non-Governmental Organization at the United Nations for three decades, addressing issues related to nuclear disarmament, peace and security, women and girls rights, and climate justice. In our 30 years, we have had remarkable U.N. NGO representatives, Loretto Volunteers who have taken their experience at our office into the rest of their careers, and dozens of interns that have been inspired by Loretto’s mission and, in turn, have inspired the work we do.

Loretto at the UN is honored to continue Loretto’s mission of working for justice and acting for peace. The United Nations is designed to create peace around the world. We are incredibly proud of our work and, in particular, of our impact at the Commission on the Status of Women, and we hope to continue great work in our U.N. and Loretto circles.
