What is Emerging?

As we greet this New Year, many of us habitually think of those New Year’s resolutions that we often make and within a few weeks are forgotten. Perhaps this year, we can resolve to take a deeper dive to help end wars that are destroying children and babies as well as innocent women and men. War has been the solution to conflict throughout the earth for many years. And it never works, and we never learn.

Early in November 2023, Charles Eisenstein wrote an article addressing the Israeli/ Palestinian war. He wrote, “We reinforce the impulse to commit violence so long as [we] think it is justified. … Fervent belief in one’s own righteousness is all it takes for a person, or a nation, to commit atrocious acts.”* Eisenstein suggests that we ask what is the goal we wish to achieve. If the goal is peace, then we no longer ask what is justified but what serves that goal. We can begin to pursue peace by letting go of justification for violence and revenge.

We know the path to peace and justice is LOVE. And when we open our hearts and recognize our oneness and send that message out to the world we make a difference. So we invite you to join us in our New Year’s resolve: to persevere in letting our voices be heard — by writing letters, making phone calls, joining groups to protest, etc. And to join people around the globe intentionally sending healing love energy to all who are involved in perpetuating these wars so hearts will be changed and peace and love will reign on our Earth-home.
