Loretto members recommend favorite books, podcasts!

On Loretto’s Facebook page this week we will feature a few of Loretto’s favorite podcasts and books for your summer listening and reading pleasure. You may be surprised by what you discover. They may offer you new ideas or an important message. Engage in debate with friends, find a new book or enjoy a trip around the world, all from the comfort of your favorite armchair! What is a podcast anyway? It’s like a radio or visual program on a topic or theme. How to access one? Podcasts are created in a digital format. To listen to one, go to the internet to download a program that piques your interest. Use your smartphone or computer to experience one. Put in a search, for example: “Find a podcast on whales.” Then it will take you to a host of podcasts featuring that subject. Once there you might enjoy a speaker, a piece of theater, an educational program. The sky’s the limit!
