Loretto stands in solidarity with the people of the Middle East

The Loretto Community has always been committed to working for justice and acting for peace, especially where women and children are concerned. We fervently pray for a peaceful resolution to the conflict in the Holy Land and the safety of all peoples involved, particularly the innocent men, women and children caught in this horrific situation. We stand with LCWR’s statement of solidarity with the people of the Middle East. We echo the cry in the “Prayer for Peace in Israel and Palestine” recently published by Sojourners Magazine that says:
Peace is a gift shared at meals of memory with Christians, Muslims, and Jews.
