Maribah Departs to Chicago With Blessings

Posted on October 22, 2022, by Loretto Community

As readers of Interchange know, Maribah has now entered the Inter-Congregational Collaborative Novitiate in Chicago. She visited Loretto locales before making the journey to Chicago. An interesting, attractive, intelligent young woman, Maribah made good friends in Loretto wherever she went. These photos attest to the warm reception and to Maribah’s good humor.

There will be more reports as she goes through her study year. The August/September Interchange had a photo of Maribah taking advantage of the exercise equipment at the Motherhouse. She was active with the Motherhouse Community every day and even had a week’s retreat with Helen Santamaria who conducted the retreat from El Paso. Maribah’s visit to St. Louis was busy, and she made more Loretto friends there.

Here Maribah is sent from the Motherhouse with a special blessing and wishes for a happy visit in St. Louis and an inspirational year of study. Judy Popp, Agnes Ann Schum, Mary Nelson, Nancy Wittwer, Rita Bruegenhagen, Mary Swain, and Eleanor Craig watch as Eileen Custy gives Maribah a farewell hug.
