About Knobs Haven and Cedars of Peace
Knobs Haven and Cedars of Peace are retreat ministries of the Loretto Community, offering individuals and groups space for rest, beauty and transformation.
The land on which the retreat centers are located has been home for the Sisters of Loretto since 1824. Countless people have lived, worked, and prayed here. Their love and care for this place fosters an atmosphere which extends a generous and peaceful spirit to seekers of all faith traditions.
Knobs Haven and Cedars of Peace are guided by the awareness that God’s presence in solitude, silence, and natural beauty invites personal healing and inspires a compassionate response to the compelling needs of our times.
